Micah Owings is likely the 3rd player getting traded to the Reds for Adam Dunn
25-year old righty starting pitcher Micah Owings is the rumored third player coming to the Reds for Adam Dunn. However, Owings might not be able to make it through waivers so the Reds might not get him until after the season. Owings has pitched in 22 games (18 starts) for the D-Backs this season and he is 6-9 with a 5.93 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP. Owings would probably slide right into the back end of the Reds’ rotation next season. If he is indeed the third player coming to the Reds then they got a nice haul for Adam Dunn. Owings has now pitched in 51 games (45 starts) in his major league career and he is 14-17 with a 4.97 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. Owings also is a fine hitter as he is 35 for 112 (.313 avg, .895 OPS) in his major league career with 16 runs scored, 5 homers and 18 RBIs.
